Bosch battery EXBA 18V-40 4.0 Ah + GAL 12V/18V-80 fast charger

The high-power EXBA18V-40 Expert battery provides up to 2000 W of peak power for demanding jobs (internal test data; instantaneous peak power with a fully charged new battery) in the most compact housing. It uses innovative terminal-free cell technology, while conventional batteries are based on cells with multiple contacts, where only two connection points are used to transmit current. This creates a bottleneck that increases battery resistance. Terminal-free battery technology solves this bottleneck. Instead of just two current channels, the battery has countless parallel current channels. Result: less resistance, less heat, impressive power and outstanding energy density.
Reinforced housing, excellent COOLPACK 2.0 heat management and terminal-free cell technology ensure a long service life for the EXBA18V-40 battery, so the battery is well suited for professionals who value durability and performance.
Simple and convenient: GAL 12V/18V-80 Professional is a fast dual-voltage charger for all Bosch Professional 12 V and 18 V batteries.
Thanks to the 8 A charging current, a 18 V 4.0 Ah battery can be fully charged in 38 minutes.
The charging device reduces downtime with smart Active Air Cooling 3.0 technology, which cools the battery before, during and after charging. This compact charger is practical to use thanks to its plug-in solution.

EXBA18V-40 has a 5-LED indicator that shows the charge status and remaining volume and detects the risk of failure.
The charger EXBA18V-40 and GAL 12V/18V-80 are compatible with both the Bosch Professional 18V system and the multi-brand battery alliance AMPShare. In addition, the charger GAL 12V/18V-80 is also compatible with the Bosch Professional 12V system.
EXBA18V-40 weighs only 605 g. GAL 12V/18V-80 is easy to mount on the wall and two LED indicators show the charge status.
