DeWalt HSS-E Co 5% 2-8 mm Metal Drill Bit Set, 6-Piece

• LONGER LIFE - 5% cobalt alloyed High Speed Steel • 4X LONGER LIFE - Versus Standard HSS-R Metal Drill Bits • NEW TIP - No walk tips for faster entry in our split point tips (1-3mm), an optimized pilot point in our 3.2mm to 8mm drill bits for faster starts, reduced bit walking to ensure improved cutting. And our new multistep point in sizes 8.5mm and above to ensure no walks, fast starts and unrivalled accuracy • VERSATILITY - Suitable for portable or stationary drilling of high alloy content steels and metals with a tensile strength up to 1100N/mm² • NO SLIP SHANK - Spin proof three sided shaft for optimal grip in drill chuck • TOUGH CORE - Increasing the central core thickness towards the chuck improves fracture stability, particularly in free hand use. • FASTER DRILLING - A combination of the optimized tip and flute geometry help deliver up to 4X the penetration speed (vs HSS-R Metal Drill Bits) • APPLICATION - Ideal for harder metals such as including bronze, cast iron, stainless steel and titanium 6 piece set of EXTREME Cobalt metal drill bits, delivering superior drilling into metal. Featuring a non slip shank, a no-walk tip for curved surfaces and a strong central core that improves fracture stability, particularly in freehand use (4.8mm diameter and up).
