Comes to the workpiece and not the other way around: DOMINO XL. Fast, simple, precise and extremely stable – with measurably shorter setup times compared to stationary machines and up to 50 percent time savings. Therefore, DOMINO XL is ideal for building furniture and doors and for producing constructive solid wood joints.
Strong frame connections
DOMINO XL comes to the workpiece and not the other way around. Fast, precise, extremely stable and therefore ideal for making furniture and doors.
Flexible and up to 50% faster than conventional stationary machines
Easy marking. Significantly shorter setup times for the machine. There is no intensive and time-consuming material handling. Significantly lower cleaning costs.
Pendulum milling principle
Unique among hand machines and patented by Festool: The milling movement of Domino dowel routers.
The simultaneous rotation and oscillation of the milling tool ensures that it is easy to work with and there are no burn marks on the holes.
Thanks to the pendulum movement, the milling cutters do not overheat, which is why they have an extremely long service life.
Oval hole principle
Precise alignment: the first DOMINO dowel is placed exactly on the elongated hole, the following ones are adjusted with play on the elongated holes of a larger width – this allows the connection to be easily aligned. The result is a stable connection, torsion-resistant from the first dowel.
Innovative stop system
Repeated dowel fastenings without time-consuming marking: From the reference edge, the DF 700 can be quickly and precisely positioned using the integrated stop pins. Also possible with dowel groups.
Extremely durable
The special shape of the DOMINO dowel, together with the expanding glue pockets and the longitudinal grooves on the side, gives the dowels a firm grip. with the dowel router DOMINO DF 700 you can process DOMINO dowels up to 14x140 mm in size. Also available as individually customizable finished products.
Now also extremely flexible
New DOMINO corner and surface connections: Even faster connection. And if necessary, release again.
Save time with repeated milling depths
With a variable milling depth setting of 15–70 mm and two freely selectable “marker” positions.
Milling heights and angle adjustment
Time-saving and precise setting of the milling height and angle: For precise bevel milling and processing of materials of different thicknesses. With fixing steps and stepless milling angle adjustment.
100% torsion-resistant
The connections are absolutely torsion-resistant from the first DOMINO dowel – without aligning the workpieces.
For outdoor and indoor work
DOMINO dowels are made of two materials: beech for indoors and weather-, insect- and mold-resistant Sipo dowels for outdoor use.
Environmentally friendly
All DOMINO dowels come from sustainable forestry. Beech dowels have the Pan European Forest Council (PEFC) seal of approval.
Working with the dust extraction function
When working with DOMINO dowel routers, a large amount of chips is generated. We strongly recommend always using dust extraction to improve the transport of chips from the milling hole during milling, but also to protect your health.
DOMINO system accessories
Precisely fitting connection for round and square wood, as well as with repeated hole spacings: Compatible as a system accessory for DOMINO XL and DOMINO DF 500.
Antistatic function
Mobil dust extractors and machines against the formation of static charge when working with the antistatic function.
CLEANTEC
Integrated bayonet connection as a connecting element between the extractor and the tool.
