Main applications:
Ideal for mobile use in assembly work
Cutting boards and panels up to a length of 305 x 60 mm
Cutting of moldings, profiles, beams with a thickness of 60 mm
Precise angle-free installation of baseboards and cover strips – with miter angle
The new KAPEX KS 60. It gives up everything that is superfluous in the installation. For example, every gram of excess weight. Instead, it offers additional conveniences with ergonomically arranged carrying handles, cable reels and transport locks. And an extremely compact design thanks to the flatly connectable guide rods. And makes no compromises in terms of precision and application diversity: with a bevel angle of up to 60 degrees on both sides and a tilt angle of up to 46 or 47 degrees on both sides. At the same time, the double-bearing Festool two-column guide ensures safe and smooth guidance of the saw blade. And many other smart details, such as LED marking light, pull-out table extension, additional groove function or miter angle, enhance the device KAPEX KS 60 to ensure a perfect harmony of mobility, different applications and the best results.
Unlimitedly mobile
With ergonomically arranged carrying handles, cable drum and practical transport protection. In addition, it is extremely compact in shape, as the guide rods close flush, and light in weight.
Ultimate precision
With double ball bearing: Festool's two-column guide ensures safe and trouble-free movement of the saw blade and the greatest cutting accuracy.
Maximum area of use
Thanks to the double-sided bevel angle of up to 60 degrees.
The angle is determined by means of a fixing / clicking mechanism on the scale, and fixing points can be used for quick selection of pre-set bevel angles. All other angles are freely selectable and adjustable.
Extremely versatile
Thanks to the tilt angle of up to 47 or 46 degrees on both sides.
The angle can be adjusted by means of an easily accessible and easy-to-handle fastener with a high-precision angle scale.
For processing even large workpieces
The individually extendable table extension ensures safe and precise support even for long workpieces.
A wide view of the workpiece and a dust-free environment
The extraction device, together with some Festool mobile extractors, sucks up the chips at the place where they are created. To keep the workplace clean and healthy.
Even more versatile thanks to the groove function
With a depth limiter, grooves can also be created quickly and accurately.
Saves time. Saves mistakes.
The miter angle SM-KS (included in all KS 60 SET versions) makes it easy and accurate to quickly remove and then transfer the inner and outer corners to the saw.
Optimal view of the cutting line
The LED marking light (in the delivery set of all SET versions) carries the marking shadow of the saw blade as a precise cutting line indication on the material.
Smart accessories
Additional legs (available in the KS 60 SET versions) raise the KS 60 work table exactly to the height of the Systainer SYS 1. This allows it to be used as a work table and to safely support long workpieces.
Quick change
The saw blade is changed quickly and safely with the spindle lock. The Allen key required for this is stored neatly in the key holder and is always at hand.
For left- and right-handers
The switch and handle are placed in the middle - so they can be easily used with both the right and left hands.
Work is always material-based
Variable speed preselection for material-based work.
Even more mobile with the base frame
The KS 60 base frame is a support frame and transport frame in one – for even easier transport of the KAPEX KS 60. This brings the KAPEX KS 60 to a back-friendly working height and is quick and easy to set up thanks to a well-thought-out folding mechanism. Additional cutting stops allow precise work with the boom up to a cutting length of 2.4 m. The KAPEX KS 60 is installed on the base frame using the UG-AD-KS 60 adapter plate. It also has an integrated saw blade holder for storing another saw blade.
