Main applications:
Cutting of pressure-resistant insulation materials, such as wood fiber boards, PUR, polystyrene, etc.
Making cross-, bevel-, longitudinal- and compound cuts in wood
Whether it's wood or insulation material, the UNIVERS SSU 200 saw cuts all materials used in timber construction up to 200 mm thick.
Thanks to the guide rail, it is easy to make straight, tear-free cross-, longitudinal-, bevel- and compound cuts.
Special feature: UNIVERS weighs only 6.5 kg – for low-fatigue work.
Precise cross cuts
Precise and right-angled cross cuts are made quickly with the guide rail, angle limiter and scale. This way, wood or insulation material fits exactly.
Precise mitre cuts
With a 60° rotation range, the SSU 200 is suitable even for extreme bevel cuts.
Thanks to the integrated guide groove of the die-cast aluminum table, it is possible to make precise cuts with the guide rail – this is exactly what is needed in timber construction.
Cutting depth at 45°: 140 mm. And at 60°: 100 mm.
Simple rafter cuts
Thanks to the large 60° rotation range and the angle limiter guide rail, complex compound cuts can also be made quickly and accurately. Simply set the angle limiter and bevel angle and cut accurately.
Tool-free chain change
Thanks to FastFix, the chain change is possible in just a few simple steps.
The chain is also tensioned without tools by turning the tensioning wheel.
Health-preserving working environment
The suction nozzle can be rotated 360° so that the suction hose does not interfere with the work. For connecting Festool mobile vacuum cleaners, such as CT 48 and CT 36.
Material-specific processing
The SSU 200 is equipped with MMC Electronic: material- and saw chain-based speed control, smooth start, overload protection and safety quick brake ensure perfect results in all applications, protecting the machine and material.
Best cutting quality
Pulling cut for fast, jerk-free work and the best cutting quality.
Long service life
Thanks to the clearly visible oil level indicator, you always know when to add chain lubricant.
Optimal lubrication
The rotary wheel for setting the optimal lubrication of the chain is located on the handle. Lubrication can be switched off so that, for example, oil does not leak out during pauses.
Optimal visibility of the cutting line
From the viewing window of the protective cover, you always have an overview of the marking and the cut.
Precise cuts
The SSU 200 guide rails can be set on the guide rail without tools. Advantage: zero play when guiding the saw and thus precise cuts.
Quickly tightened
The innovative FS-Rapid guide rail fastening system holds the guide rails in place – on the marking. Quickly attached, precisely sawn.
Guide system
Patented guide system for safe guidance of sawing and milling accessories.
Electronic overload protection
Protects the motor in case of a blocking tool.
Electronic monitoring of coil temperature
Electronic monitoring of the coil temperature protects against motor damage.
Start-up current limiter
Problem-free start-up in the case of household fuses.
