Kärcher robot vacuum cleaner RCV 5

The smart cleaning robot RCV 5 cleans floors and low-pile carpets independently and systematically.
Dry dirt is transported to the built-in waste container by a rotating brush, side edge brush and fan.
An ultrasonic sensor detects carpets, which are cleaned with the Auto Boost function for maximum results.
The RCV 5 not only vacuums, but can also do wet cleaning. In wet cleaning mode, carpets are automatically avoided.
Via the application, the RCV 5 automatically maps the rooms. Individual cleaning parameters can be set for each room. For example, which rooms should be vacuumed, wet-cleaned or left uncleaned.
Thanks to the camera's dual laser system, the top model RCV 5 also detects and avoids flat obstacles such as cables, socks or shoes.
Additional sensors prevent the device from falling.
You can conveniently start the RCV 5 via the app, using a pre-set individual schedule or by pressing the device's button.
If the cleaning robot needs help, it will notify you via voice output.

Wet cleaning
For even better cleaning results, the RCV 5 can also moisten the mop.
If necessary, use the cleaning device with a microfiber cloth, fill the fresh water tank and you are ready.
The RCV 3 cleaning robot can be used only for vacuuming, only for wet mopping or in a combined cleaning mode with both options.

Precise navigation using artificial intelligence
With fast and powerful LiDAR navigation, the robot scans and maps rooms accurately, ensuring the best orientation for reliable cleaning expeditions, even in the dark.
The robot's dual laser sensor and camera even allow to detect small or flat objects that are too small for the LiDAR system (e.g. shoes, socks or cables). If the dual laser camera system detects obstacles, it also adds them to the map. The robot bypasses them with an intelligent navigation maneuver, avoiding getting stuck or causing damage.

Carpet detection and automatic boost
The RCV 5 automatically detects carpeted surfaces using an ultrasonic sensor and displays them on the map in the application.
When wet cleaning is activated, the robot avoids detected carpeted surfaces and drives around them.
The Auto Boost function increases the suction power on carpeted surfaces for even better cleaning results.

Fall sensors
Fall sensors reliably prevent the RCV 5 from falling down the stairs or falling down.
The sensors scan the floor. If a large fall is detected, the controller receives a signal that triggers the robot to turn around.

Data protection and updates
As a manufacturer based in Germany, Kärcher attaches great importance to data protection and ensures that all applicable legal requirements are met.
All data transmission between your smartphone's Home Robots application and the robot vacuum cleaner and mop runs via the cloud only to servers located in Germany.
Regular updates improve and expand the performance of the robot vacuum cleaner and the application. This also means that the system's security is constantly updated to meet current specifications.

Voice output
Always well informed: The RCV 5 uses voice output to convey important information and share the current status.
If the robot vacuum cleaner RCV 5 needs help or service, it will notify you via voice output in many situations.

Conveniently controlled via application and WiFi
The application can be used to adjust many settings according to individual preferences.
With the help of the application, you can configure the RCV 5 cleaning robot and control it from any location. Even if you are not at home.
Information about the current status of the device and a screen showing the current cleaning progress are available via the application.

Precise mapping with versatile customization options
The application can save multiple maps, e.g. for multiple floors.
It is possible to define zones where you do not want the robot to go and clean (e.g. cat scratching, children's play areas or obstacles that the robot cannot pass).
Definition of selected areas that need to be cleaned multiple times, cleaned in intensive cleaning mode or wiped with more water.

Adjustment of cleaning parameters
Definition of different cleaning parameters in the application for individual areas of the rooms (e.g. suction power or water volume, number of cleanings per surface).

Timer program
You can plan cleaning times and create cleaning plans via the application.
The RCV 5 independently starts cleaning trips according to the planned dates/times.
