Knipex Cobra water pump pliers offer a lightweight and stable solution, allowing quick and precise adjustment thanks to the automatic spring mechanism. These pliers are self-locking on pipes and nuts. Thanks to the protected spring, the pliers close automatically at the push of a button.

The pliers are suitable for pipes, nuts, sleeves and various components. Knipex Cobra…matic allows quick and precise adjustment with one hand. The spring-loaded retaining catch locks securely, preventing accidental adjustment. Thanks to the 25-position fine adjustment, the pliers can be perfectly adapted to workpieces of different sizes. Fine adjustment also ensures an optimal handle distance in every opening position.

Knipex Cobra…matic pliers are even more stable thanks to their box-joint design. Unlike tools with a compound joint, no tilting forces occur under load. The handles stabilize each other inside the joint.

Self-locking mechanism ensures high efficiency
Knipex Cobra…matic pliers grip the workpiece on their own thanks to their special jaw geometry. This allows the user to direct all their energy into the desired movement without squeezing the handles together—so no energy is wasted. The pliers can be used to turn round components and tighten and loosen threaded connections.

Knipex forges Cobra pliers from chrome vanadium steel and uses a multi-stage hardening process to achieve the ideal balance of strength and durability. The gripping teeth are hardened to approximately 61 HRC, ensuring a long service life and a secure grip on the workpiece.
