Their cutting ability extends up to Ø 2.5 mm hard wire (e.g., wire core) and up to Ø 4.0 mm soft wire (e.g., copper wire), offering a wide range of uses.
Long cutting edges make them excellent for cutting cables. Extremely carefully and precisely processed cutting edges allow for precise cutting of even very fine twisted wire up to the tips of the cutting edges.
This is a great advantage in tight spaces, for example, when it is necessary to shorten fine twisted wires in distribution boxes.
Durable and long-lasting
Knipex diagonal cutters are made of vanadium electric steel and reinforced with heat treatment and oil hardening.
For achieving cuts with lasting precision, we use high-frequency hardening on the cutting edges, resulting in a hardness of about 62 HRC.
