Knipex VDE Cable Stripping Pliers with Multiple Opening Springs, Universal

Easy adjustment according to the diameter of single or multi-stranded cable, using the groove screw and locking nut
For single and multi-stranded cables as well as fine wire conductors with plastic or rubber insulation up to Ø 5.0 mm or 10 mm⊃2;

VDE-tested standard wire removers for standard insulation

For plastic and rubber insulation materials

The Knipex 11 06 160 VDE-tested insulated wire removers are primarily suitable for processing frequently installed NYM cables (standardized cable / PVC insulation / sheath cable). For example, electricians who want to remove wires in one work step (e.g., wires with a cross-section of 1.5 mm⊃2;) can easily remove insulation up to Ø 5 mm or 10 mm⊃2; from wires with this tool.

These pliers are also suitable for removing flexible wires from rubber cables, such as in connection or extension cords.

Adjustable conduction cross-section thanks to the groove screw

The pliers are set to the wire cross-section with the help of the groove screw, so that the insulation is removed without damaging the wire. The groove screw is secured with an internal locking nut, which ensures the precise setting is maintained even during longer work. This simple and effective technology has been popular among electricians for decades.

Sturdy construction for a long service life and comfort

The Knipex 11 06 160 wire removers are forged from special tool steel and additionally oil-hardened. The opening spring makes the pliers comfortable in the hand, significantly reducing muscle tension when holding the tool tightly. The chrome-plated surface coating protects against corrosion, for example, if the pliers are in a tool kit that may collect moisture due to temperature changes. Thanks to these finishing and processing stages, the pliers are designed for a long service life.

Multi-component handles ensure a comfortable grip and reduce work tension.
