Knipex's siphon and connector pliers are suitable for many applications where a large gripping range and gentle gripping change are needed, without damaging the components. When odor traps of kitchen and bathroom fittings need to be opened, Knipex's siphon and connector pliers can be used to turn them securely and moderately. The pliers allow for unscrewing and tightening plastic pipe connections and sensitive fittings, and are also suitable for removing stuck hoses – e.g., coolant hoses.

Surface contour protects pipe connections

The shape of these gripping jaws differs from, for example, water pump pliers. The gripping jaws of the siphon and connector pliers are designed for larger pipe diameters. Thanks to the round shape, the pliers can be used to work on both connector nuts on fittings and connection points of liquid and gas conduit pipes. Such connections ensure weather- and vibration-resistant electrical connections, for example, between carriages in rail movers.
