Right to claim for Makita products:
A consumer (private customer) has the right, pursuant to Estonian Law of Obligations Act §218(2), to submit a warranty claim to the seller within 2 years.
Business customer: 1 year
Batteries: 1 year
If the product is registered within 4 weeks of the purchase date, the factory one-year warranty can be extended by two years.
The extended 3-year warranty applies only to devices purchased from authorized dealers of Makita OY's Estonian branch.
The warranty is valid only for models imported by Makita Oy's Estonian branch (Finnish subsidiary).
The extended warranty is granted only if the device is registered on the Makita website within 4 weeks of the purchase date. The warranty period is calculated from the date of purchase.
You can register the product at www.makita.ee.
From the Makita website, you can print the extended warranty certificate and also the purchase document if you have uploaded it.
If the device is sent for service under the extended warranty, the purchase document and warranty certificate must be included.
The extended warranty applies to electric motor-powered devices (mains and battery powered) and gas-powered nail guns.
The extended warranty does not apply to accessories, batteries, chargers, lighting equipment, heated jackets, internal combustion engine-powered devices, pneumatic nail guns, air compressors, or torque-controlled screwdrivers intended for industrial use.
