DTW1005 impact wrench with a brushless motor combines high performance, a 137 mm (5-3/8") long spindle and a 19 mm (3/4") square drive. Ideal for opening and fastening bolts and nuts even in deeper places, such as near the rear wheels of trucks.
The impact wrench achieves a maximum tightening torque of 1360 Nm and an opening torque of 1700 Nm, offering excellent performance for both professionals and home users.
Constant speed control ensures a constant torque, XPT (eXtreme Protection Technology) offers high moisture resistance, making the tool reliable even in difficult conditions.
The device is equipped with four fastening modes and two opening modes and an automatic shutdown mode:
Mode 1 (fastening): stops immediately after the bolt/nut is installed (30–50 Nm), suitable for the level of manual tension on heavy vehicle wheels.
Mode 2: stops ~0.3 seconds after the bolt/nut is installed (50–150 Nm), suitable for initial tightening.
Mode 3: stops ~0.5 seconds after the bolt/nut is installed (300–450 Nm), suitable for temporary tightening.
Mode 4: works at maximum speed.
The reverse gear for opening works slowly in modes 1–3 after the impact function is completed; in mode 4, the rotation speed decreases to a maximum.
DTW1005 is equipped with two LED lights that improve visibility in the work area, and a full-speed mode that reduces the need to press the trigger and the associated fatigue.
The ergonomic rubber soft handle ensures comfort even during prolonged use.

The extended warranty is granted only if the device is registered on the Makita website within 4 weeks of the purchase date. The warranty period is calculated from the date of purchase.
