Powerful pressing jaws made of durable and specially hardened special steel
The pressing contour corresponds to the respective press fitting systems. This ensures ideal, system-compliant pressing.
The pressing jaws are manufactured on high-precision CNC production centers and have machine-rounded pressing profiles. Thanks to this, the tolerances allowed in manufacturing are smaller than those of cast pressing profiles.
Inspection according to EN 1775:2007 - REMS pressing jaws/REMS pressing jaws Mini/pressing rings (with M, V, SA, B, HR and UP pressing contour) have a special marking pressed in, which leaves a specific mark on the fitting after pressing. This also makes it possible to check later whether the correct pressing jaw/pressing ring was used to press the fitting.
With this traceability, REMS fulfills the recommendations of the European standard EN 1775:2007 for the installation of press fitting systems for gas. Example: REMS pressing jaws M: the imprint "M" on the pipe fitting for traceability according to EN 1775:2007.
