Dust is a major drawback of sanding. It clogs the sandpaper and makes it inefficient. It covers the entire room and penetrates everywhere in the house. That's why we've developed Bosch Particle Control technology and taken dust reduction to a new level.
The Bosch Particle Control system ensures all dust particles are sucked into a vacuum cleaner or filter. The foundation of this system is the Bosch EXPERT M480 sanding mesh. Particles move directly through its open mesh structure and do not clog the surface or pollute the air. This makes the mesh extremely efficient and particularly durable.

PROTECTIVE PAD
Extends the life of the backing pad
Strong hook-and-loop protective layer
Optimizes adhesion between the sanding disc and the backing pad
Ideal for using mesh discs with random orbit sanders
