The YATO double-leg fall protection lanyard with shock absorber is part of a fall arrest system for users with a total weight of up to 100 kg.
When arresting a fall, the specially sewn seams on the lanyard gradually open, helping to slow the fall. The gates on the carabiners and snap hooks lock automatically.
Attach the harness end only to an attachment point marked A. The anchor point must comply with EN 795, withstand a static load of at least 22 kN and be located above the harness fall-arrest point.
Before use, check that there is enough clear space below the fall path; during normal use, the anchor point should not cause the shock absorber to deflect by more than 30°. When changing anchor points, first attach the next connector and only then remove the previous one, keeping both connectors attached.
The product must not be used for lifting or transporting people, or as climbing protection. A competent person must inspect the product at least once every 12 months. If the product has arrested a fall, remove it from service; its service life is up to five years from first use.
