Technical Specifications
Dimensions
Durable with a classic body with a resistive heating element that works directly from a wall outlet.
The simple construction makes the device virtually failure-free, and with a properly maintained tip, it will serve the user for years. The 60 W heating element's power is sufficient for both proper soldering of two copper wires and for basic electronics work in through-hole technology.
The heat output of the tip is high enough to allow heating and correct soldering of large soldering surfaces. The high-quality coated copper tip collects and dissipates heat faster than standard tips.
A comfortable two-component handle with a non-slip element increases work safety.
Suitable for soldering and tinning work.
Heating time: 2–3 minutes to a temperature of 350 °C
Tip maintenance:
Yato soldering iron tips are coated with a material that reduces oxidation. Prolonged heating and mechanical wear damage the protective layer, after which the tip oxidizes quickly and the tin does not adhere properly. To avoid this, the tip must always be tinned: when heating for the first time, apply a thin layer of tin and remove the excess, for example, using brass wool. It is recommended to repeat the same procedure at the end of each work.
Important!
Soldering irons that work directly from a wall outlet must have a grounded plug and be connected to a grounded outlet. If the metal body of the heating element is not grounded, there is a risk of electric shock or burns. All Yato soldering irons have a grounded plug that is connected to the metal body of the heating element.
